Halifax Cup

Ovenden have won the trophy a record number of times over the years.

Starting in the 1948-49 season, the trophy has gone to Ovenden on twelve occasions, the last being in 2018 when they also reached the semi-finals of the BARLA National Cup and the Final of the Yorkshire Cup.

The 1970-71 victory was unusual as the Final at Thrum Hall was a draw with Siddal and the Cup was presented to Ovenden after a replay victory at Roils Head, not the likeliest of venues for a final.

Ovenden, with Siddal, hold the record for Halifax Cup victories with 12 each.
