Sowerby Bridge Robins

Sowerby Bridge Robins came into being following the successful entry of a team by Sowerby Bridge kitchen manufacturer, Ram International, into the 1989 Halifax Workshops competition. They moved to a new home at the Sowerby Bridge Snooker Club where a pitch was also created. The club attracted several experienced players, won the Halifax Handicap Cup, and reached the final of the Halifax Cup.
