1950’s
From 1955 to 1960 there was a Mixenden Youth Club U17/U19 teams playing against teams such a Halifax Supporters, St Joseph’s, Ovenden, Keighley Albion, Stainland and Hebden Bridge. They played their home games up at Roils Head. Indeed, for one game against St. Joseph’s, the conditions at Roils Head were unusually described as “almost perfect”.
