Elland’s success was also reflected in their victories in the Halifax Championship Finals.

Although it may appear that Elland’s Championship success was not in the same league as others, it should be remembered that the Elland team of the 1980’s featured in seven finals in 10 years. They were runners up on occasions  in that decade and were also runners up three times in the new century including back-to-back appearances in 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons.
