Park Amateurs record in the Halifax Championship is unsurpassed. Between 1984 and 1999 Park were present 13 times in the Halifax Championship Final, missing out only twice in 1989 and 1993. although they won the Championship Trophy on only 5 occasions.

The fierce rivalry in the 1980’s  and early 1990’s between Park Amateurs and Elland for the “top dog”, best team in Halifax title is clearly illustrated by their appearances in the Championship Final.

Park or Elland appeared in the final every year from 1985 to 2000. meeting on 8 occasions. Park Amateurs won just three times. Indeed, the first four finals under the sponsorship of Stansfield were contested by Park Amateurs and Elland with honours even.

In the Halifax Cup, Park Amateurs record is not as impressive. They won the Halifax Cup for the first time in 1978-79 but it was over a decade, 1990,  before they lifted the trophy for the second time. Park won the Cup on another 3 occasions, 1995, 1999 and in 2000.
