The Final Chapter
There is reference to a Mixenden team in the 1984-85 season when a team formally shown as Mixenden 1984 finished 6th in the Pennine Division 7. Presumably the same team but without the “1984” suffix had a good year the following 1985-86 season finishing in 3rd place.
It appears that the lack of a junior team in recent years and an ageing core of the team, Mixenden had run its course.
